While surfing the web I come across hundreds of articles with titles like ’10 tips to give a great presentation/ask your boss for a pay rise/be a good listener/etc.’ Usually the content is obvious, the language is too colloquial for the BE classroom, and in general they are a waste of time. However the 59 tips in this free pdf really are useful, in my opinion. I think that higher level students who want to discuss soft management skills would find this document really interesting. You could take the four major sections of the document a day at a time, and I’m sure the students would get a useful opportunity to reflect on their business performance.
